Frequently Asked Questions Q. Who should use the Migraine Manager? A. People suffering from serious headaches. The Migraine Manager has been shown to relieve migraine, cluster, and tension headaches. Q. Who should not use the Migraine Manager? A. Anyone who is allergic to cool air or plastic material should not use the Migraine Manager. People with sinus headaches will not typically benefit from using the Migraine Manager. Q. Is it healthy to breathe cold air? A. Some people could have problems breathing very cold air such as might be found in the arctic, but the Migraine Manager produces air at temperatures above freezing. This is no different than typical outdoor temperature in most of the United States at some point during the year. Millions of people breathe air at this temperature for extended periods of time. Q. Will the Migraine Manager work if I don't put in fresh cool packs? A. No. The cooling mechanism will not work without cool packs that are cold enough, and the user will not get sufficiently cooled air. Q. Should I use the Migraine Manager for more than 20 minutes at a time? A. Medical researchers have determined that most patients get relief within 20 minutes. Some users have found that by stopping after 20 minutes, putting the cooling units back in the freezer, and using the Migraine Manager again an hour later, they are able to get pain relief. Q. Should I continue to take my medication? A. Follow your physician's instructions. We are not medical practicioners and cannot give medical advice. Some patients have reduced and even eliminated their use of medication for their headache pain while using the Migraine Manager. |
